OZ Comic Con Melbourne 2026 VTuber Meet & Greets

Back in June of this year, we held our first ever VTuber Meet & Greets at OZ Comic Con Melbourne!

This was a huge deal for us as it was our first step into hosting VTuber related events. Personally, VTubers and content creation is a big passion of mine. It's always been a disappointment on how little opportunities there are in Australia for creators, ESPECIALLY VTubers. And now, thanks to my amazing job and boss, I can help create more opportunities for others and hopefully open other people's eyes to the power/capabilities of VTubers and VTuber fans. This meet & greet event is only the start!

We hosted 15 different meet & greets over the 2 days Comic Con was hosted this year, all of whom are incredibly sweet, entertaining people. I couldn't have picked a better team to be a part of our first ever event!

Many different fans and new eyes talked to the different VTubers! People of all ages were asking the classic questions "what the heck is that?!" and "is that AI?!", but honestly once we explained what was going on, everyone responded positively! It makes me really positive that we helped more people discover the VTuber world.

I know I'm not the best at writing, but I really wanted to get down somewhere how happy I am for the success of this event. Of course, there are always things that could be improved and we are working on making the next event even better, but I am quite proud of this. Everyone involved, myself, VTuber talents, my temporary helper Maddy, my boss Rob, everyone, should be proud of what we accomplished. And thank you for helping me create such a wonderful event.
